I need sheet music for piano. I could never find a good site for finding sheet music for the piano that is free and is printable…. All the sites i had found were either music books you buy (store?) or it’s downloadable. I don’t want to download anything… I just want something where you can look at it when you first type in the song and print out the song….

It depends what genre of music you are looking for. Classical is generally the easiest to find on the web because copyright laws prevent newer music from being distributed for free. Here are some classical sites that may help:

www.8notes.com (already mentioned, I realize)
www.sheetmusicarchive.net
www.pianopublicdomain.com

There are other sites as well, but these are the best and the only I know of that don’t require money.

The sheetmusicarchive site, by the way, is limited to two downloads per day.

I’m talking about that song from OST Pinocchio (Disney, ca.1940), but preferrably a more recent remake because I don’t really like the original version. My favourite version is Olivia Newton-John’s from her 1988 album Warm and Tender, but I lost the CD. Is there any way I can find this song on P2P Networking? (I’ve looked for it on Limewire, no luck). Otherwise, which other P2P downloadable remakes would be worth listening to? (Preferrably from a contemporary pop/jazz singer or from American Idol if it was ever sung there)

I’m asking this question because I have a voice recital this Sunday and need to study this song fast! If you know where I can download free sheet music for this song that can help me as well (melody only is enough). Thanks a bunch!!

Here are a couple of links that might help. Often, you can find copies of songs in .midi format that are the less popular stuff than you’d find on P2P networks, old standards, etc. I’ll keep searching and I’ll edit my post if I find exactly what you are looking for. Meanwhile, I hope these links might help!

I am looking for a software that can take an MP3 type song and turn the music into a music sheet. If I could use a trial version or a free downloadable one that would be great! Because I am only going to use it once. Also, if there are any stores that do this, in Utah, please tell me about them.
I wrote and recorded the song… it’s not against the law for me to make notations with my own song using a program.

I’ve been using this one to write music sheets: Finale. However, there is no software (yet) that takes a song and immediately transposes it. It is

a) against copywrite laws and
b) too hard to program because of all the timbre, pitch, texture, voice.

This is really a song that you have to hear!!

I need to find some guitar sheet music for the Jonas Brothers to download or print. It DOESNT NEED TO BE FREE. I can pay up to $5.00 for one song.

G /D /A chord progression.
If you need I can tell you at what word the chord changes, but it’s really easy to figure out.
